The CERTELE program follows an exclusive SKILLS-BASED TRAINING methodology with excellent results. This type of training has been used with great success by large companies all over the world to develop their employees’ skills.
The trainee gives a Spanish class to foreign students taking into account the pre-established criteria. The class is observed by the trainer and the other trainees. After the class there is a feedback session. The trainee receives a written evaluation of the class focusing on how to improve his / her weak points and pointing out the positive elements of the class.
Each day the trainee learns a new technique which is put into practice the following day along with the techniques he / she has learnt so far. Progress is consistent and with the trainer’s guidance the trainee eventually acquires all of the essential skills.
Upon finishing the course, the student must be able to confidently put into practice everything learnt, such as preparing level tests, classroom layout, dealing with class issues, choosing suitable material and texts, designing a curriculum, etc.
There is also a module about seeking employment, which contains plenty of useful information and tips about how to find work or how to set up your own language school. SHM provides the trainees with indepth knowledge and invaluable contacts acquired through years of experience. |
