"I absolutely loved the city of Granada, and one reason for this was because of SHM. I was in Granada for 6 months and not one day was boring because the teachers of the school were very nice, caring and bundles of fun. Not to mention, the city of Granada is full of life, especially during the nights. Before I arrived in Granada, I only studied Spanish for 3 months. My first day of class was a disaster because I didn’t understand anything, but with a lot of practice and the lessons that I did, now I can speak with confidence in myself. "At SHM you will feel at home immediately. Both the teachers and staff are friendly and helpful in making your stay in Granada as pleasant as possible. Everyday I had class from two different teachers in small classes with people from all over the world. The teachers are professional, but do also understand that fun is very important. For that reason the atmosphere at the school is very informal. Every week the school arranged a program with activities outside the school. During the week there is the possibility to visit the Albaicin quarter or to learn how to make Paella. In the weekends you can visit cities like Cordoba and Sevilla or visit the beautiful Alpujarras. Once a week there is the famous tapas tour with one of the teachers, where you not only can enjoy Granada’s best wines and tapas, but also can practice your Spanish with your classmates.
